High CPU usage at startup.

Hello,
at startup, my CPU is taken up by the process "System".
The usage is not that "extreme" at "only" 15%, but this is very high to how it was like before.
In addition, the PC is also very slowed down by whatever is happening in the background.
I have already cleaned the registry and the disks.
What has caused this, how do I fix it?

It could be that your computer is running updates in the background and that will cause the CPU usage to go up.

I would just boot the computer and then go into the Settings>Update & Security and see if any update pop up to download or install after a few minutes.

I don't know why, but after clicking "scan for updates" it found something and asked me to reboot, now everything is back to normal.

My guess would be that it had a sudo stalled update that needed to be cleared out. At least it is back to normal now.
