Hey guys, I was hoping someone could share some insight or point me in the right direction as to where to look or troubleshoot my issue.
Currently, I am having issues with some games (mainly ubisoft games, Farcry 4 and The Division Beta, Also Paragons Alpha). My frame rate is tanking rapidly and I am experiencing the occasional slide show for a second or 2 and then it catches up. I am at my wit's end and cannot for the life of me find what the issue is. Below are my specs.
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit
Motherboard: MSI Gaming z97 5 - LGA 1150
CPU: Intel Core i7 4790k(Haswell)
Heatsink(Was running stock fan, it was reaching temperatures of 84C, i upgraded to a H001i liquid cooler today and the highest recorded temp was 61C)
Ram: HyperX Fury Black Series (32gigs)
Graphics: MSI Geforce GTX 980 ti (I had upgraded from a gtx 970 and the issue persisted)
OS Disk: Crucial 240Gigs, then a few storage drives and a Raid0 array for gameplay recording.(I run my games off one of my storage drives, however i attempted loading them on my solid state and the issue persisted)
I run 3 monitors, 2 are through the video card, one is through a display adapter, I have tried with one single monitor just in case, the issue persisted. I also managed to overclock my CPU to 4400MHz with the MSI Gaming APP and it helped slightly but the issue is still there, it reached a temperature of 67C.
Any help is appreciated.
