I just hooked up a Sony 42" Full HD 60Hz tv to my EVGA gtx 970 acx2.0 and after that my clocks have been really high. My main monitor is 27" 1920x1080 60Hz and my second is 22" 1680x1050 60Hz.
If i unplug the Sony tv my idle clocks come back to normal about 300/300MHz but if the TV is plugged in even if it's not displaying anything clocks are back high again.
TV is plugged in with HDMI and my two other monitors are plugged with DVI.
