Question High GPU temperature while gaming ?

Hi All,

I have a Galax RTX 3080 Ti 12GB GPU that hits high temps during gaming. As reported by GPUz the temperature during stress/gaming are:

Core temp: 81C
Hot Spot Temp: 104.3C
Memory Temp: 104C
Fan(s) Speed: 90 +%
GPU Load: 95 +%

I am wonderding if these temperatures are normal. Should I reapply the thermal Paste/Thermal pads ?

Here's my overall system configuration:
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x
Ram: 32 GB DDR4
Motherboard: MSI B450M Pro-Vdh Max
PSU: Corsair RM1000e 1000W

Any help will be much appreciated.

Make and model of your case?
Number of fans in said case and their orientation?
What are your idle temps?

I am using Asus Prime-AP201 mATX case: https://www.asus.com/in/motherboard...sus-prime-ap201-tempered-glass-microatx-case/

I have 2x120mm fans at the bottom for intake underneath the GPU
1x120mm on the back behind the CPU again for intake, and 2x120mm on the top for exhaust.
Idle temperatures for GPU are around 45C to 55C

I changed to Gelid GC Extreme Pads and also repasted the Thermal Interface (used the Arctic MX-6 however). Happy to report that the hotspot and the memory temps under stress have reduced, although there is a 2C increase in the max Core temperature, probably due to the paste, should have used the Thermal Grizzly.

Core temp: 83.1 C
Hot Spot Temp: 90.3C
Memory Temp: 90 C
Fan(s) Speed: 80%
GPU Load: 98%
