Hey everyone,

Just checked my temperatures using HWMonitor and noticed something a bit strange with temperatures. I will list below.

TZ00 28c
TZ01 30c
SYSTIN 27c
CPUTIN 35c
TMPIN5 34c
TMPIN6 121c
TMPIN3 33c

I noticed on TMPIN6 the temperature seems really high and I actually don't know what "TMPIN6" is. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Solution
I can't find any references about what it is. All I can tell you is that you should be able to feel heat coming off of any component at that temperature by holding the back of your hand over it.

Don't touch anything until you know it's not that hot. 120C is enough to cause second degree burns.

Other than that, it might simply be a sensor failing.

Just so you know I have the P8Z77-V LX and I too have noticed this. Only found out after having some random BSOD's recently.

Heres mine for comparison:
TZ00 29c
TZ01 30c
SYSTIN 29c
CPUTIN 33c
TMPIN5 33c
TMPIN6 119c
TMPIN3 32c
