I know I said speakers which isn't a motherboard problem but I think mine is.

So I set up my 5.1 surround sound system and hooked it up via the 3.5mm jack in the back of my motherboard. Everything was fine until I read that to get true surround sound I would need Realtek HD Audio Manager. So I installed that and the high pitch sound started. So I googled for hours to no avail. Then I uninstalled Realtek and restart my computer and everything seemed fine for about 2 weeks.

Being the stubborn idiot I am I reinstalled Realtek to see if I could fix the problem and the buzzing started again. Uninstalled Realtek and the buzzing persists. The buzzing comes from my speakers as well as any headphones I plug into the headphone jack at the front of my PC. Even if I unplug the speakers and plug in headphones to the back of my computer I get the buzzing sound. The only way to make it stop is to disable "High Definition Audio Device" in Device Manager, but that also stops all sound.

I've literally googled and tried every solution for the past 3 hours. Nothing works.
This includes updating drivers*

What on Earth is the problem?
