High Pitched Whine(the one you know and love)

My setup:

i5 Sandy Bridge 2600k cpu
ATI Radeon HD 6870 gpu
4gb ram

600w Thermaltake TR2 psu


I know the psu is less than desired. I got it from best buy as a temporary purchase, but was too lazy to return it since it gave me no issues. Shortly after, it started emitting a high pitched whine. I RMA'ed it and got another one, which emitted that whine from the get go.

Is the power supply the problem? I would assume that but the computer runs fine and the whine is the only issue.

It could be coil whine, which doesn't affect the quality or longevity of the PSU. If the whine is bothersome, exchange for a different make and model this time.
