Higher CL than specified

Hi!
I have the following memory:

The CL is specified as: 4-4-4-12

But CPU-Z gives me the following information:
CAS# Latency (CL): 5.0 clocks
RAS# to CAS# Delay (tRCD): 5 clocks
RAS# Precharge (tRP): 5 clocks
Cycle Time (tRAS): 15 clocks

I interpret that as: 5-5-5-15

Why does CPU-Z tell me a higher CL than the specified?
Any hint is appreciated.

It's because your motherboard didn't select the EPP#1 timings; it selected the JEDEC#3 timings. Just set the EPP#1 timings and voltage (1.9V if need be, but they'll most likely run fine at 1.8V) manually in the BIOS.

It was set on "auto", but appearantly the motherboard could not recognize the correct values. Anyway, it was easy to change.
