What is the highest OC you've had with the 5700 Ultra. I'm still
working mine up so it's at 513/947. And idle it runs at about 45 C
usually lower sometimes higher.

OK, I'll bite. What good is the idle temp? The only important thing is
what is the temp it gets to when you are pushing teh card in 3D.

Why not ?

If your card allows access to the nVidia Temperature Settings, then
leave this window open in Desktop and visible. Start the game and go
into full 3D mode for 3-4 minutes. ALT-TAB instantly from 3D mode to
the Desktop and read the temperature IMMEDIATELY. Also, note
how fast the temperature falls in one second...........

I have an ultimately overclockable FX5900. I limited my GPU overclock
speed such that the GPU core temperature under very worst-case game
conditions (Far Cry near-maxed) and <<immediately>> after an Alt-Tab
was no more than 73 degrees C. Commercial silicon is rated for 70
degrees C continuous-running CASE temperature.
