HIS IceQ X2 R9 270

I was planning on getting the R9 270 from HIS and I just wanted to know if HIS has good customer service, if the cooler is good, and if they are a trusted brand?

I have bought numerous HIS products, with only one RMA, which was handled without issues according to their standard RMA procedure.
I like their coolers. Other than my own personal experiences with the brand (6-7 cards, a statistically insignificant sample), my overall impression of the brand remains mixed. I see a lot of citations for poor build quality on some cards, and it seems perhaps they have two "levels" of product. One is a cut-down budget model intended to meet a price point, and the other is everything else. I'd buy another of their cards myself, but I'd make sure it isn't that base model.

What do you mean the base model?

I am getting mine from PCPartpicker and the R9 270 from HIS is the only one and it's for $112 and it has a IceQ X2 cooler on it. Is it not worth it to get it then?

If it has the IceQ X2 cooler on it, it is one of the better ones. For $112, that's a nice price!
