A64 3200
vnf3-250
1gb mushkin basic pc3200
9800pro oem saphire
antec 350W performance series 2
120gb seagate HD

Only a few minor kinks. Must have switched the positives for the front panel LED's ^^.
And at post it's saying key is stuck. Kinda weird...
Any idea's that i can go for right away? I can get passed it with f1 and then go on without a hitch..

Whoa.. actually bigger kinks.
Something has to be shorting out or something.. when i use the mouse if i watch the CPU graph i can make it spike by 50% just draging a small window around.. wtf is going on. :/
USB mouse..

I take it you tried another keyboard? No extra post underneath the motherboard (possibly shorting something) ? Is this a fresh install of windows? All your drivers installed? Sounds very strange.

You'll have to upgrade your CPU to use that mouse! LOL

Fresh install, keyboard works fine on three other computers. But i am about to change keyboards, nothing underneath motherboard.
I'm about to get pissed.

Hey do me a favor.. and anyone else too that reads this.
Cntrl Alt Del go to performance.. let it stabilize at 0 grab that box and shake it around really fast.
Tell me how high your performance percentage goes up.
I just tried this on two other computers that have been working for years and they do the same thing.

They end up spiking like crazy if you keep doing that. Is this normal? I hope I can get a few people to do this.

Yea i don't know what it is. It doesn't affect anything.
Everything is working great.. so it's weirding me out.
Memtest86 found no errors.
I used a few different cpu burn in tests.. no errors.
Benchmarked it.. and it's falling in it's range where it should be.
I guess i'm going to say screw it. I've tried all of the different usb ports.. same thing. I've taken all the screws out of the motherboard to see if any of them were shorting anything on the board.

The only thing i can think of is bad drivers for the mouse. Even though it's the correct driver. I'm going to use a ps/2 mouse to test that .. i have to dig it out of the closet. :D been so long..

Could be a USB driver issue.. I tried as hard as I can, and got it up to 3%.. then stopped.. and watched CPU usage drop to 2% and climb to 3% again.. you get the picture :)

Using Logitech USB mouse btw, on nForce2 board.

Whoa working on a Workstation at work older machine PIII 1ghz and it gets to 90% ;-)thats with USB mouse and shaking it fast hehe.

It reminds me of the old win3.11/win95 joke:

Your mouse has moved, windows needs to restart for changes to take effect...
