I would like to have Outlook Express not close when I hit the X, but
instead minimize, much like MSN messenger does.

It would be great if it could minimize to the tray with an icon this would
be a fantastic function, but I'd be happy just to minimize to the task
bar, or be able to assign some other function.

Is this possible?

Thanks,

...D.

Hi, unfortunantly this functionality isn't possible with the current
version of Outlook Express. However, Microsoft Outlook 2003 supports
minimize to tray functionality. To download a free 60-day trial of Office
Standard Edition 2003 (including Outlook 2003), visit
http://www.microsoft.com/office/editions/prodinfo/standardtrial.mspx

Hope this helps, but I agree with you that that would be a neat feature to
add to OE :)

The minute I replied I thought back to myself and realized I should have
said "not within the application" :) I take it this works with just
about any application, I'll have to try it out.
