Hold or Buy on New System?

Hey everyone, first post here on tom's hardware (although I've used it for nearly a decade). I am a serious gamer and enthusiast but I have to shop in my price range (usually $1500 when I build new). Current build is a water-cooled 8350 with a 1060 6GB. I've had this computer for 3 years and it was a budget build when I got it. Now...

I'm starting to get an itch, well the itch has been coming on for a while now. I NEED A NEW PC. Okay, maybe not NEED but want.

Do you think its better to hold out until later in the year to build a new system, or will they not change much in the next few months. Personally, I believe they will drop like always but... they could go stagnant.

Anyways, just wanted some other opinions. Thanks in advance!

Depends on your itch. The new cards will definitely be more expensive than before. If you want it now, you should buy it. If you can wait, then wait.

The 1060 is still quite a good card for 1080p. Maybe you could reuse it.
