So many people come asking about video card prices and recommendations, I just wish that everone would either mention their Country, or have it in their profile. Wouldn't that be helpful?

For instance, I hate to mention US pricing when it doesn't apply to people out of the US. But on the flip side, I'd like to point out better deals to people if they are in the US. It get's old having to ask, and is repeditive to keep asking.

But I seem to always check profiles and not get any info, so pricing and recomendations becomes a guessing game.

That's a good point Paul, I only ever pay attention to the US market though, so I think most regulars here know that if I mention a price for something, I'm talking US dollars.

I quote US pricing too, but just hate to shatter someones hopes of a better card when they find it it costs twice the price in their Country. I bet they get tired of seeing R9800Pro's dropping US Price over and over, if it is stable at $400 for them.

Yeah, I've been requesting that for a while.

Telling people what country you live in doesn't give away your secret Identity, so you can continue being BATMAN!

It would help alot as people list prices and are talking pounds, dollars, frank insence and myrrh.

Also telling people in the south Sandwich Islands to buy from FRY's or NewEgg, doesn't work.

I wish it were mandatory, and probably should be in the buyer's guide.
