I recently built a computer with my brother, and after installing Windows and all the drivers on it, we powered it off and moved it to the room that it would be used in. When we plugged it into the power in the new room, it would not turn on (no lights, no fans, no output of any kind). What is wrong with the computer? Please help

Solution
Dead PSU.

I recommend either an XFX, EVGA b2/G2/P2, SeaSonic, or Antec PSU.

Stick by these PSUs, and you will never be sad, well maybe once it dies.
Did you accidentally turn off the switch on the back of the PSU? Is there any chance it's plugged into an outlet that doesn't work or requires a switch to run on the outlet? What is the model number of your power supply? Any chance something got knocked loose inside?

As far as I can tell, nothing was knock loose, and all switches that should be on are on, but still no boot.

The PSU is a Rosewill Capstone 750w 80 Plus Gold
Here's the link if you need any more info about it: Power Supply

Yeah, I'd try it on a different outlet and let us know. If it worked fine when it was moved, it should work fine now. That's a very good PSU so it's doubtful that it took a shit from one room to the next. Try plugging a lamp or something into the same outlet that it's on now to see if it works.

I moved it back to the room where it was working, but now it won't boot there

That hurts. but atleast you now know the problem part.
Just as a word of advice, check out your power outlets for proper earthing and supply before powering it on with a new PSU next time, just to be sure.

Thanks for the tip, I will take it. The outlets should be grounded, but I'll also check out a new power strip while I'm at it
