Hey all, I cant seem to get my new computer to display anything on the screen, checked everything such as RAM, different graphics card, on board display, what could it be? Starting to lose hope...

Obviously you've looked at all the connections? All wires plugged in properly etc. Does the computer boot? Is there any POST beep? Have you tried a different VGA/DVI cable? Also what components are you using and how old are they?

They're all brand new, i've used vga and dvi-d on both the gpu and onboard, the computer boots, two short beeps but everything is running such as it indicates the main bios is running, the motherboard is a gigabyte z87-ud4h if that helps

it even reads from the optical disk drive

Can you see the BIOS? Does ANYTHING come up on the screen after boot at all? Right so it's got onboard graphics... are you using a graphics card? If so have you ensured you've disabled the onboard graphics. Does the onboard graphics work if you take the graphics card out?

I've tried both, there is no output at all, ill try taking out the gpu and trying to get it to work, how would you disable onboard? I think my mobos default display is the gpu by the way.

You would only be able to disable onboard using your BIOS. I thought you could access that at least. Okay well if you can hear your computer running fine and POST is working I'd check your monitor. Do you have any other video outputs?
