Hello,

Honestly no fanboys etc just honest facts or unbiased opinions is it worth getting an Sapphire Radeon RX 590 NITRO+ 8GB Graphics Card for £269 or a EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 SC 6GB Graphics Card for £363

Paired with 2x4GB 2666mhz ram & a ryzen 2600

Thanks in advance ! Great forum

performance wise you wouldnt be able to tell the difference for the most part, but at that price difference defintely rx590.
It will use more power, possibly will be abit louder depending on the cooler, but in most tests it comes up as a slightly better card when talking about fps.

Between those 2 at those prices, I'd go with the 590. I recently found myself at the same decision, but in my case it was a 1060 6GB DDR5X for under $200 and a 590 for $280.

The cards themselves are pretty closely matched, with AMD vs Nvidia optimizations by the developer making the difference.

Thanks, on the site I’m building my pc on that is the price difference but my build is price matched off another site so I’m not sure I’ve asked the question but obviously if I’m saving £94 and getting 3 free games then surely is a no brainier ? Only negative is not having the Nvidia shadow play etc .. but saving £94 and getting say a 700w power supply should be enough ?

1 x Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB (2x 4GB) 2666MHz DDR4
1 x EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 SC 6GB Graphics Card

My current build for £730, the company has price matched me against another site, max budget £750

According to the site I’m on they were the prices of the cards I listed above, and they have some 2060s for under £350 but we will see, I’m new to all this

Thanks for the response ! Would 550 be enough for the 590 or would you recommend more ?

For the money, that's not bad, PSU isn't very good though. What site is it?
