Question Honor 8X EMUI 8.2 All Apps Crashing

I have an Honor 8X and since a few months ago a lot of my apps have been crashing. Usually it would happen a short moment after launch (15s max) and then they'd just close down. A few nights ago I updated my phone from version EMUI 8.2.0.165 to 8.2.0.175 and now pretty much nothing works. The Play Store crashes instantly, reddit used to work now it doesn't and so on. I've been looking for an answer for a long time now and a small amout of people also have this issue but no responses. I tried calling huawei and they said they woudn't apply my warranty because of the way it was purchased. Since I'm also unable to get EMUI 9 and can't find an answer I'm pretty much stuck with a dead phone. Any help?

Have you tried to do a factory reset? What was the reason for huawei to decline the warranty if i may ask?

same thing happened to me ,I factory reset it and everything is still crashing ,I think it's the new update because when I updated my honor 8x max my apps started to crash and I couldnt get into anything
