CPU : Ryzen 5 2600 (stock)
GPU : RX 570 4GB
RAM : 16gb 2993mhz (XMP enabled)

I'm having issues where it seems my pc is micro stutter/freezing or i cant really explain it right tbh. For example i could be playing fortnite in a empty map at 144fps and it could drop to literally 143 and i can feel the game "freeze or something". I have a 144hz monitor and it doesn't matter if i cap the fps to 144/160/ or even 60, it will drop by literally 1 or 2 frames and it skips or stutters.

Now, I took 2 screenshots of this happening and i have msi afterburner/rtss showing my temps, frames, etc in both and i was wondering if anyone could spot what changed in the screenshots that might explain what's happening.

In these 2 pics I dropped from 160fps->103 for seemingly no reason. My temps are fine. The usage is low for the cpu, gpu, ram,, etc. I'm playing in a empty map for testing where i can usually get up to 400 frames. I could limit the frame rate to 60 and it would still randomly drop to like 52 and starting stuttering and return to normal. This also happens in games like warzone. I've reinstalled the games, restored windows, enabled xmp, tweaked fullscreen optimizations and countless other tweaks and tips from youtube, etc.

Also not sure if this is the correct place to post this, sorry.

did you buy your ram as a kit? as in, both sticks came together when you bought them? if not, that is most likely part of your issue.

I have been trying to solve this for almost a year. Tried everything. Same CPU. Ive tried two Ryzen 2600s. Awful frame times and constant spiking freezes. I think ryzen 2600 is just junk tbh
