But we're still stuck at 2 MB, where is that 250 MB email
space we were promised months ago.

YahooPops! gets Yahoo web mail in your mail client as POP
mail, to which you can apply filters. Maybe somebody will
create a similar proxy so Hotmail can be read in Outlook and
Outlook Express.

There has to be a way to curb spammers without making
Hotmail a paid service.

there's always alternative browsers with add-ons (hotpopper apps).

Hi,

As little as 5% of Hotmail users are using this facility to access
their hotmail account via outlook express.

Since it is a way that spammers can exploit to send spam, I am glad it
is being plugged!

As for the increase in space, that should be complete this fall I
believe.

I have always used Outlook Express to access Hotmail, I have
several accounts that I use to keep various interests
contained. Why anybody would choose to not use Outlook
Express is beyond me, the web interface is clunky. The only
reason to use the Hotmail or Yahoo web interface is to set
options. The stat that only 5% use OE, is just proof that
stupidity runs deep.

BTW, Hotmail Popper will be cheaper than paying Hotmail
