Despite having a ~38% market share, just 3% of malware is targeted at iPhones. On the other hand, 97% of malware is directed at Android's ~53% market share.
Allowing such control over your phone can open it to attacks.
TBO, I understand why people want to control their computer with a phone. Use a portable device to control a fixed one. Like a fancy remote.
