Hello, Im relatively new to computer gaming and pretty inexperienced in forums.

I am looking to upgrade my PC so I can hopefuly run bf4 on high settings, My current system;
-Studio XPS 9100 from dell
-8gb samsung DDR3 ram (2gx6)
-GeForce gt 640 2gb
-i7 quad-core 930 @2.80 ghz

I was going to get a 16gb pack of corsair ram and also an ssd drive and eventually a graphic card, my budget is pretty limited and Im not sure which component to get first, which would make the biggest impact?

Graphic card would benefit the most from gaming. Right now, a single HD 7870(~$160), R9 270X(~$200), HD 7850($140) would allow you to play @ high settings or even ultra w 40+ fps.

You do not need ram for gaming, 8GB is enough. An SSD is more of a luxury in gaming, it helps loading times etc but would not improve gaming performances much.
