[SOLVED] How can I make 5V RGB fans addressable with a board that only supports 12V RGB?

I'm a beginner with a build, so apologies for any awkward use of jargon!

My motherboard is a Gigabyte B450m DS3H. It has a single 12V 4-pin header for RGB. I plan to install 5 RGB fans into my case with the help of a hub, but the RGB connector on each fan is a 5V 3-pin, and I intend for all of them to be addressable. Is there some sort of converter I can use or did I screw up and get the wrong board? None of these fans I'm referring to come with a remote, by the way.

Not exactly. The hub has 3-pin RGB headers on it, but the cable for the hub itself is also 3-pin. Therefore it isn't compatible with the header on the board.

Ah i understand.

Corsairs RGB hub connects via a USB header and Sata for power. Perhaps consider that ?
