i have a gtx 2070 and i got a samsung lc27jg50qqu monitor when i got to settings i can only choice 60 herz how can i change it

Solution
1. Go to Display Settings -> Advanced Display Settings -> Display Adapter Properties [Monitor you are using] -> Monitor Tab -> Screen Refresh Rate dropdown. You should see the option for 144 Hertz.

2. If you don't see that option then check two things:

- One, does your monitor have a designated 144 Hertz HDMI port like this one? View: https://imgur.com/a/q2j2Mxm

- Secondly, is your HDMI cable fast enough to run at a higher refresh rate; if not, buy this 144 Hertz Capable HDMI Cable.

- You can alternatively use a display cable which supports 144 Hertz automatically:

- Buy this Display Cable.

I hope this helps...

What cable are you using?

The option to change it should be in the Nvidia Control Panel under Resolution. Make sure you have the newest GPU drivers installed from Nvidia.
