If you have a blu-ray player that has wi-fi connected to the TV it's easier that way. I stream from my crappy laptop all the time like that.

I bought this for a company 18 months ago, it works great. They had a projector mounted in the ceiling and didn't want to run wires to it, in order to feed video from a laptop or Blu-ray player to the projector. But back in June of 2012 I had to pay $250 for it.

Make sure all devices are connected to your home network first. THen....it's easier for you to read it here.

Or you could just stream from the laptop directly to the TV. I've done that before.

It might help if you gave the model number of the TV. Some can connect directly to a network, some can't.

I have a vizio and I know I cant stream videos from wdmycloud......it shows up on tv, but cant play them,,a codecs issue. these files play with versity etc...
