[SOLVED] How can i unlock amd sempron 140 second core

Processor: AMD Sempron 140 @2.7Ghz
Mobo: gigabyte ga-m68m-s2p

I plan on my processor to unlock the second core, but the motherboard isn't overclockable. Is there anything I can do?
Or can I upgrade my CPU to AMD Athlon II

If there's no unlock option in BIOS you can't unlock cores.
According to https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-M68M-S2P-rev-10/support#support-cpu you can install Phenom II up to x6, just check the BIOS version and update it as needed.

PS:
Also check MB version number before you download BIOS, it should be in left bottom corner of the MB.
