HEXiT :
set the front jacks for your headset and the rear for the speakers. then go into the creative panel and select mute speakers when front jacks are pluged in... this will mute the speakers
. if you dont use that then the speakers will stay on regardless of what is plugged in the front jacks.
Hello HEXiT, sorry I didn't respond to this earlier. I've been very busy!
I will try to explain how the current setup is and see if you have another solution. The ROCATT headphones are 5.1. I'm using almost all the inputs (color coded on the sound card) for the headphones except the one extra (blue) for my speakers to plug into. If I use the front jacks, will I still get 5.1 from my headset? I don't think I will. I was also thinking it my be a BIOS driver update issue or my Realtek audio driver on the MOBO..
Anyway, there must be a way to be able to switch at will between the headset and speakers using the awesome sound quality of this sound card. All suggestions are welcome. Thanks!
Oh, and since you are showing your system features I thought I would show mine.
