[SOLVED] How can I use my Point and shoot Camera as a Webcam?

I have camera from Panosonic LUMIX. The model is DMC-TZ25. It has a HDMI port too. I want to use it as a webcam. I've a tripod too. The ports in the camera are a HDMI port, a charging port(micro USB type. Please tell me how can I use it as a Webcam? But please note that I don't want to buy or use a Capture card.

That's where the plan falls apart, I believe.

The USB port is likely charging only, meaning no video signal out from there..... and your PC won't have a way to receive an HDMI input (only 'out'). You need some way to capture the HDMI from the camera on your PC..... which will necessitate a capture device, as far as I know.

It seems that the SD card is between the lens and the hdmi cable, If you plug into the tv does it only display whats been recorded?

Just buy an Elgato CAMLINK and be done with it. https://www.elgato.com/en/gaming/cam-link-4k

If you want to make high quality streams, get a used DSLR with a prime lens, get some lighting, and use the CAMlink for your streams.
