No local or online vendor sell them;

And even the IBM website itself doesn't sell them!!!!

Why?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

www.mwave.com
IBM GXP Deskstar ATA100 and 7200
60 GB = $249
45 GB = $149

This is a good company, a guy at work buys from them all the time. Shipping is a little slow.

That 45 GB baby will be mine in about a month or so.

I believe you are talking about the 60GXP, the next generation of their 7200 RPM ATA drives, successor to the 75GXP. They've been announced but are not out quite yet. That is why no one it selling them yet, wait until they are released.

Hi, sir, but i think wut u talking about is 75gxp, which is available every where.

wut i asked was 60gxp, the new model. u never heard of it?

btw, the quote you provided is different from the website you were talking about. :)

thanx sir. but i think they anounced it was out last year in november. also, some one just told me they are selling only the 60GB model.

i only want the 20GB model. sad.

You are correct, I didn't know there was a new model out. I thought you meant a 60GB drive.

But the prices are posted correctly.
Go to the site, click on product catalog, Hard drives - IDE, IBM, and scroll to the bottom. They are there, drives only in white box but they are there.
Bare drive is good enough for me, I would just throw the box out anyway.

Sorry for the confusion.
