I have a Z390 motherboard with an i9900k cpu. The case has a cable labeled PWM - where does it go on my mobo? Also, do I connect the case fans with their 3 pin connectors to the 3 pin side of the fan hub or the 4 pin side? I have seen it connected to 4 pin side.

Look on your case manual at the page no.7:
  1. Your PWM case cable is from the case fan preinstalled on the back of the case. Will be installed to the PWM fan hub in the 3 Pin side connectors.
  2. The same with the other case fans.
3. The 4 Pin side of the PWM fan hub will be used for CPU fan ( CPU aircooler ) or radiator fans ( CPU watecooler).
4. Connect the PWM fan hub cable to the CPU_FAN connector on your motherboard.
5. Connect the PWM fan hub to a SATA power connector too.
