How do I disable the Highpoint Controller in KT7 R

I would like to know this because I saw this as being one fo the fixes for the hang up problemn. But I went to search for this in the bios and in the device manager, but I didnt see anything named that. Can anybody help me? If so can you explain exactly what it is called and where to look for it? As always, I appreciate all that people do to help me Who knows, I may become the next helper.

nm guys, I figured how to do that... although windows automatically setups up my sound card every time I enter windows, even if I install it in safe mode and then disable SB16 emulation... urgh, this is so frustrating
