Question How do i fix my GPU from suddenly using high power usage?

Im using oculus link with quest 2.
Whenever i play a game on my laptop it runs smoothly (GPU usage near 40-60), but after a min or two it starts lagging hard and in task manager it shows the GPU usage near 80 or more.

I tried to restart my pc and headset multiple times, i tried setting the Nvidia 3d settings to make power management mode to prefer maximum performance. No matter what i try, i can't fix it.

My laptop specs are:
Intel Core i7-11800H
1TB SSD
16GB RAM
RTX 3060
Win 11.

My laptop does not have problem running regular pc games though.

Try setting your windows power setting to high performance. You may also have to reduce graphic quality settings in your game itself to reduce call for more gpu power.
