How Do I Fix This Games Problem?

Solution

Nothing much:
after CPU upgrade make sure all CPU cores are detected correctly;
after GPU upgrade perform latest graphics driver installation (choose clean install option);
That's it.

If you were to upgrade GPU from Nvidia to Amd, then use of DDU (Display driver uninstaller) would be necessary.
But since you're upgrading from Nvidia to another Nvidia GPU, clean install of graphics driver is enough.
That will work just fine but if you can find the exact brand and frequency of RAM already in your computer than you would only have to pay for an 8GB stick to add. If not buying a matched set like the one you linked will work just fine.

Motherboard model was not listed, so it's possible that it has only 2 ram slots and both of them are occupied already.
Then there's no other way of getting 16GB than a new 2x8GB kit.

It's an ASRock h97m but I have another question, i am upgrading to an i7-4790 and gtx 1080 will there be anything i need to do with my hard drive and windows before i were to?
