[SOLVED] How do I hotwire a cooler onto my case?

My motherboard doesn't have any fan connectors(other than the cpu cooler) so the only way I see for me to put an extra fan on my case to cool the cpu down is to somehow hotwire a fan using my psu's old ide connector. How do I do it?

What motherboard do you have?

As far as adding fans, you can buy a Fan Hub.

I'm pretty sure you can just get a fan controller that plugs directly into you PSU. Corsair sells them as well as a couple other companies. They allow you to connect up to 6 fans and it is all powered through the PSU directly.

If you don't care about speed control you can just connect the fan to a molex connector from your PSU.
