I honestly regret buying a 1440p monitor since I only play fps comp games, Im getting lower fps than I used to with my old pc on 1080p.

Question: Would lowering my res to 1080p on nvidia control panel help getting more fps? Or is there a better way to do it maybe with DSR factors, I just want to play on 1080p on a 1440p Monitor.

Monitor: MSI Optix G27CQ4 E2 27" 170 Hz 2K

UserBenchmarks:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X - 108.9%
GPU: Nvidia RTX 4060-Ti - 149.8%
SSD: Kingston SNV2S1000G 1TB - 318.9%
RAM: Corsair CMG16GX4M1E3200C16 2x16GB - 97.3%
MBD: Asus PRIME B550M-A

My bios version is Version 3202 2023/08/04
My ram is Vengeance RGB RS 16x2 DDR4 3200 MHz CL16 1.35 Volts

Do you mean i should overclock my ram? and do you think that would help me get more fps on 1440p?

Just lower game resolution, to whatever performs well on your system.
1080p or 720p or even less.

DSR is quite the opposite of what you want. It renders game in higher resolution and then downscales the image.
It lets you test, how your pc would perform with increased resolution like 4k.

May be you meant DLSS (not DSR). That could improve performance.
