How do I know I got the right stuff?

I've just bought a new computer, 1GHz T-bird, 256 PC-133 RAM. I was wondering where I could find programs that test both the cpu if it's oc'ed or not and the RAM. Thank you.

Well, I got a program called CPU stability test that is supposed to figure out if your CPU is overclocked or not. I can't know for sure if it really works. Did anyone try this program?
