How do i know if my mobo is infected with virus?

Many people tells me that its possible but highly unlikely. Recently I built a new gaming computer with z78 motherboard, intel 5 4670k haswell, and gtx 680 superclock. My stupid little cousin went to messed up porn sites in my computer and got one of those FBI Viruses. I formatted my pc and installed new fresh window 7. What are the chances that my mother board is infected? Time to time when I press on button on my pc its turns on then off, then it turns on again and boot window 7. Is that like the symptom?

When my computer was infected with viruses I went to my amazon account and ebay account. Do you think the spyware got any of those info? cuz its been 4 months they haven't temper with my accounts.
