I've used speedfan. It tells me my cpu is 78c. Then I tried coretemp. It tells me its 50c.(Same programs opened on both)

Im confused...

which is right?

I quit using speedfan a few years ago due to inaccurate readings, but to be on the safe side I would try a 3rd program such as HWmonitor and see which number it comes up with. Coretemp is usually really accurate though, I trust it over speedfan.
