How do i make a website?

Hello.

I want to make a website in HTML5.

I only have really basic skills when it comes to making websites, but i did enjoy it really good last time i tried, so now i want to try and make a website, that i can have up running on the internet.

I dont want any help from wix.com or any other companies to make the website for me.
I want to do the coding and the gfx by myself.

So where do i start, what program should i get, is notepad++ good enough, can i run the website from my computer, what computer does it requires? Where do i get the domain name from etc. I saw some website where i could register my domain, but then i had restricted storage etc.

Briefly explained, im almost all blank how to start.

That is a very huge question. Any time you're talking about publicly facing programs that you've written, you need to worry about security. If you plan on having user accounts, there is a lot of security considerations.

I did a search on, How to make a website with HTML5, and I received a variety of links and videos. Maybe you can start there.

Learn HTML 5 and CSS 3. After you know these two languages you can pretty much build a good looking website. Learn Javascript next to really impress people.
