About to take apart my old Pc but the case doesnt have screws but these pin things all around it. Only the right side has a single screw. I can take off one side but the rest is pinned there and from what I can see all in one piece.

Pc is a Hp Pavilion p6 2155a.

This isnt my pc but the back of it is identical to mine. If you scroll through it.

Couldnt find anything online myself. Do I just get a screw driver and try pop it open?

Hi. Those pin things are Rivets and permanent. Thew one screw is for the cover. After removing that screw, you shoouls be able to slide the cover off.

Based on the picture you shared... Only 1 side of that case opens. Silly HP, they don't want you to open both sides.

If you were set on removing the other side, you'll have to remove those rivets. Rivets are best removed using a drill to drill them out...

I would never use a drill that close to my computer...

Maybe try some side cutters first if you're hellbent on getting in.

Screw driver? Possibly. I wouldn't, but maybe that would work.

No point in bothering to do that. There is nothing there. Just the bottom side of the panel that the motherboard is mounted on.
