By getting another dongle for it.
They aren't universal...some are bluetooth, some 2.4GHz, some proprietary...

Not that I know of.
Time to buy a new mouse.

Check the mouse and any other mice that you may have. Some mice have a small "storage" area on the underside in which to clip the receiver/dongle.
