[SOLVED] How do I rename a SSD (NOT the label)?

How can I rename a SSD's actual name like its model name? I had used Sabrent Control Panel to check for a newer firmware on a non Sabrent NVMe, it said there was a firmware available, but I did not update it. Later that day I went into the motherboard BIOS and realized that my NON-SABRENT SSD was now called "Sabrent" while previously it showed up as "PCIe SSD"

FYI: I had two NVMe SSDs: Sabrent Rocket 4 NVMe 1TB and Inland Premium 512GB NVMe

The Inland drive got its real name which was "PCIe SSD" changed to "Sabrent"

Sabrent doesn't make any flash controllers that I'm aware of. AFAICT, the OP's SSDs use Phison E12 and E16 flash controllers, so I'm wondering what happened.

AFAIK, the firmware is stored in the NAND array and in the serial flash memory chip. I don't know if the flash controller also stores some of the firmware, but some Crucial SSDs have a PMU whose flash memory is also updated.
Does inland have firmware you can install?

I don't see how this could happen without something else going on.
Firmware usually checks for the appropriate model# before installing.

I wonder if the UEFI bios on your motherboard is just remembering the wrong name.

No, I do not I only have the firmware provided by Phison, and I have updated it and it did not work.

Not only my BIOS, but literally everything say it is called "Sabrent"
