How do i reset the resolution on windows 8.1?

I was overclocking my monitor.. and all went fine for a few minutes but then my monitor said that the resolution wasnt supported.. but i had already clicked accept on the confirm resolution change notif.. so how do i go back to a default reso?

I would try to reboot into Safe Mode and then change back the resolution.

Hello uh the problem is the screen is black and i cant access my nvidia control panel settings

I can boot normall using the on board gpu though.. but i have to remove my current gpu or else it will pioritise my nvidia one

If you can't boot into Safe Mode and disable the setting you made, then do what you did..boot up using integrated graphics without the video card installed, and uninstall all your nvidia software, then shutdown, replace graphics card, and start from scratch.
