Last night I tried to start my computer (an Asus powered Cooler Master). Sadly it's not starting. However I got it to start twice (miraculously and without remembering how it happened). When it happened the second time, I saw the notice that the anti-surge protection was responding to power surges it was detecting. But I can't get it started to test this theory by disabling the anti-surge (which I've read enough about, you can imagine).
So.... Whenever I push the start bottom, all I get is brief, feeble, half second attempts by the computer to get started, and it just repeats this process.
Something interesting I tried was to hit the restart button while the blue lights were briefly lit and all this did was keep the fans going and one blue light on. I'm at a real loss about how to proceed if my PC's not gonna turn on.
Can someone lend me a hand here?
