Hi, i have a few old heatsinks around so i thought i'd cut one in half and stick them to the ram on my tnt2u card, but how would i do this, would super glue work?
I was also thinking about some sort of thermal glue type stuff.
As you can see i have no idea what i'm talking about so i would be glad of any help!

most people use screw down mounts, so u can get the fan off if u wanna replace it. and thermal grease is a good idea for the contact between the chip and sink.

You could use this cheapo trick, get thermal grease (cheaper than thermal epoxy and easier to find) and spread it all over the RAM, the clean the edges of the RAM chips and just before putting the heatsinks apply a very small amount of superglue on the edges, put the heatsinks there, apply pressure for some time, and put some weight over the RAM for some hours and then it should be ready to use.

Hears an odd one for you-you can use JB-WELD, it is an epoxy with aluminum substrait, just use a little tiny amount and make sure it does not contact the metal connectors. It is permanent!
