Question How do I stop PC thinking I hold down keyboard keys longer than I do.

Hey, all. I've been resisting posting about this for a while, because I wanted to see if I could figure it out by my own means or anywhere else, but after 6 or so months of this being a prominent issue, I'm really getting tired of it.

In this video I posted to imgur, you can see what I mean. In the video, I am constantly pressing wdsa (in that order) circularly never stopping to hold down one button significantly longer than any other. However, as you watch the video, you'll notice that I run into the wall, or any other straight line just randomly. This is what is happening. My PC will (randomly?) think that I hold one of my keys longer than I do. This is most prominent while gaming with K&M, but sometimes I do notice it happen on my browser as well, although that is a whole lot more sparingly than in game. Let's say I'm playing just a random game. In one round (max 30 mins or so) it will happen to me countless times. It often gets me killed, because I'm not able to bob and weave as well as I would like.

this is my entire parts list. I use a single usb hub to add in a couple extra peripherals I use, but my keyboard isn't plugged into that at all. Keyboard is plugged directly in. My keyboard is a razer huntsman elite. Mouse is a razer deathadder elite. I use the razer seiren x as my mic and a razer kiyo as my webcam. I have a couple pebbles ( i don't remember the brand) as my speakers, unless I'm using my razer kraken ultimate headset.

I have tried a good amount of things to see if it will fix the issue. Mainly
  • Uninstalling razer synapse
  • (reinstalling it afterwards)
  • turning off all unessecary background processes
  • using the CPU limiter on opera gx
  • unplugging other peripheral pieces to see if they make a difference
  • freeing up more space on my OS drive (it was never THAT full, but now it has more than 500 GB free)
  • reinstalling the keyboard's driver
Other than those, I have no clue how to fix my issue. The only idea I have that I haven't tried is reinstalling windows, but that's a lot of work, and I don't remember where I put my activation key so I can reinstall it. If anyone has any possible solutions or knowledge of the situation, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance :)

P.S. This may be a related issue, but I'm not sure. I notice while gaming with K&M and while typing that my pc hitches sometimes. It will get stuck on a frame in a game for half a second, and when typing it'll get stuck and then quickly type in the keys that I hit when it unhitches itself.

try manipulating the controls in Control Panel > Keyboard.
see if adjusting the Repeat "delay" & "rate" to different variables helps with the issue any.

also many 3rd party keyboard control softwares offer weird "gaming" options that can alter the way holding and repeating keys behave.
first make sure none of these types of options are enabled.
if none are enabled by default, maybe try enabling any that may be available.

that usually wouldn't be tied to any problem with the peripheral devices.

usually an issue with your system itself freezing, however short the time may be, and then unfreezing and continuing with all input commands that had queued during the freeze.
