[SOLVED] How do I update a backup external hard drive?

I did a full system backup on a WD my Passport external hard drive, but I've been considering backing up more of my new data. How do I add new data to my external hard drive?

your current full backup had to have been 'steered' to that particular drive location, and took up 'x' amount of space...; as long as you still have adequate space, other backups should be steered to the same location, depending on the backup software, which you will set up via mouse point and click menus, typically.
