Im trying to fix "Display driver has stopped responding and has recovered" issue and was wondering if updating my BIOS would help.

Where do I go to do that?

I have a 760GM-E51 (AM3)

Thanks a lot. Ive already checked that microsoft page and didnt really help. And about the MSI update page. Ive tried to use that LIVE Update thing and it doesnt work. I see it download and i try to run it and nothing happens. It says it cant find the Application

Wow. I dont want this to come across the wrong way but ive also watched that video and it didnt help. I tried method one and it didnt help so I used two but the problem with that is once the cards out and old monitor cable is in, my pc basically freezes at the "starting windows" section with the icon showing. I hear the start up tone and i put in my password and hear the log in music but i still see the windows icon.

I have no idea what that means!

And this morning, it donned to me... my MB (760GM-E51 AM3 Socket) supports up to PCI Express 2.0 but my card (ATI 6790) is a 2.1. Would that cause an issue of any kind? (Including the display driver issue)
