How Do I Use the Upgrade Version on My Windows 7 RC?

I'm running the windows 7 x64 Release Candidate edition on my computer, and it is the only OS that has ever been on here. I ordered the upgrade version, but I'm afraid to open it because it might not work (I can't get a definite answer). Can someone please explain what I should do? If it helps, I'd rather do a clean installation but I don't mind an upgrade either.

There is a way to make the upgrade version work going from the RC to the RTM build, but I wouldn't bother. Clean installs are always a safer idea.

Do a clean install - will save you a lot of trouble

Yes. Clean installs never need hacks.

You may have a MINOR problem. You have the upgrade version which requires an operating system that qualifies installed on the harddrive - The frebee Win 7 RC does not qualify to the best of my knowledge.

I installed it fine, then went back and formatted, then installed again and no problems. I'm very happy that I didn't pay $200 for the full edition.
