How does LG compare to samsung?

Hello: well I must say that the comparison between these two
leading manufacturers is something like comparing a
lion and a tiger. Deciding which one is better seems
to be much more of a personal preference than anything
else. They both have a similar price offerings, similar
picture quality in same price range and similar in almost
every other respects. Whichever brand you purchase, you
are going to get a good Flat screen

Hello.

I work for a major electrical retailer for their service department. Based on my personal experience I would never buy a Samsung. They produce fantastic picture quality, awful sound, and seem to have poor reliability. Remember this is only based on my experience in the number of returns of Samsung TV sets and repairs of Samsung TV sets we see. I would also steer clear of their DVD Recorders, BluRay Players and Home Cinema Systems.

On the other hand, LG arent superb, but they are usually better value in regards to reliability. Samsung beat LG on picture quality, easily, but LG win on reliability in my opinion.

LG are basically Philips, who have dropped in customer satisfaction reports in recent years.

If you can afford it, don't bother with either of these brands and go for a Panasonic. Super Picture, superb sound, and awesome reliability. But thats just my opinion.
